From Legacy Fragmentation to a Future-Ready Operation


Some projects improve processes.

Others redefine how an entire organization operates.

I am currently immersed in one of those strategic transformations: participating in the deployment of a next-generation technology ecosystem for a wide portfolio of resorts and hotels in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, within one of the most recognized hotel groups in the world.

This is not just a simple software implementation.

It is a large-scale operational reinvention that involves multiple countries, brands, business models, online distribution architecture, booking flows, financial logic, guest experience, and commercial channels.

A true enterprise project.

The Challenge

The portfolio combines:

  • Diverse ownership structures
  • Different market realities across Spain, Greece, Portugal, Bulgaria, and other destinations
  • High-volume vacation hotels with strong seasonality
  • Centralized booking operations supporting dozens of properties
  • Legacy systems that require migration without affecting the business

The goal:

Evolving this entire environment into a modern, integrated, and scalable global ecosystem, ensuring operational continuity, revenue, and customer experience.
